Resin, also called rosin, is the tree’s natural way of protecting itself against microorganisms and healing damage. The terpenes accelerate drying.
Pine Tar Oil penetrates deep into the wood and prevents it from drying out or cracking. Additionally, the pine tar oil provides effective protection against water penetration and prevents the wood from deteriorating.
