Modern log house by Uddevallabron
The house has an expansive view of the Byfjord with a plot that goes right down to the beach. Uddevallabron is just behind. For homeowners Catharina and Håkan Alexandersson, it was important to have a natural house color that blends into the surroundings. The tar white color lived up to all their wishes.
– We first looked at Iron Vitriol, but were pleased to find Tar Vitriol instead. Then we got in touch with another “mammoth house builder” who was satisfied and after that the choice was easy. The comments we have received are only positive. Everyone really thinks that the house has such a nice color, says Catharina Alexandersson.
The construction of the house started in February 2016 when the concrete elements for the basement were delivered. The house was then erected in April and the family moved in at the turn of the year. The actual painting was done during the summer and took a total of two weeks.
– We are most pleased with how incredibly easy it was to paint with the tar vitriol plus the color turned out as good as we hoped. The fact that the color tone shifts and changes over time depending on the situation is something we really like about the tar vitriol.
Therefore, you should choose Tar Vitriol:
- The paint is good for the wood and the house
- It smells good when you paint
- The color is incredibly beautiful
