Tarvitriol Linked Houses Nyköping
In Norra Arnö, a rapidly developing neighborhood in Nyköping, Maison Forte has recently completed seventeen very special chain houses, all painted with Auson’s tar vitriol. We are incredibly proud and happy about this! Elinor Collin has moved in with her family in one of the area’s larger houses of 150 square meters.
What made you choose Norra Arnö?
– We wanted to live near the water, and here we have the Baltic Sea right next door. We fell for Norra Arnö both because of the location and above all the house. Maison Forte has worked with Lomars Arkitekter on this project, and the houses are characterized by exclusivity. This applies to everything, from materials and design to floor plans and well thought-out details. The tar vitriol comes in as just such a detail, but it is undoubtedly a detail that really takes off.
– We love the color!
When we moved in, the shade was more towards brown. Now it has already got its typical gray shade, and it just gets more beautiful all the time. To be honest, I simply think it’s a really nice color, but it’s also that it marries so nicely with the surroundings, the materials and the design of the houses, says Elinor Collin. The result has been so successful that Maison Forte is now moving forward with more Auson colors in its future projects. Everyone involved, from the developer and the architect to the residents, are keen to promote what is sometimes called nature’s own paint. Auson calls it tar play.
